Service Writer– High-Volume Shop Experience Preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Job Summary

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and love the automotive world? Quality Automotive and Tire is seeking a customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service team.

As the main point of contact for customers needing maintenance or repairs, you will ensure a seamless and positive service experience while supporting our skilled technicians. If you’re a great communicator with solid automotive understanding, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a supportive dealership environment.

Compensation

Salary: $55,000 – $80,000 per year
(Depending on experience, performance bonuses, and commission eligibility)

What You’ll Do

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, listening to their vehicle concerns
  • Clearly explain recommended services, repairs, timelines, and estimates
  • Write detailed and accurate service orders using Tekmetric service software
  • Coordinate with technicians and manage repair order flow
  • Provide timely updates to customers throughout the repair process
  • Recommend maintenance services based on vehicle needs
  • Handle cash, invoices, and payments accurately
  • Maintain organized service records and promote excellent customer experiences

What We’re Looking For Required

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service department
  • Good communication and computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred

  • Prior experience as a Service Writer or Service Advisor
  • Mechanical understanding of vehicle systems
  • Dealership or service shop experience
  • Familiarity with service management software
